2- Do not iron your denim

Ironing the fabric will damage the fabric and set stains in.

3- Do not wash your denim often

Washing your denim after every wear will make it fade away faster. Jeans are not meant to be washed every day.

Measurements

Having the perfect pair of jeans has to do with the fitting of your jeans. One of the best ways to determine your jeans size is to grab your favorite fitting pair of jeans from your closet and go from there. The following steps will help you determine the correct measurementss for your next perfect pair of jeans:


1. Lay the pair of jeans on a flat surface and use your hands to stretch the jeans in the areas you are about to measure. That way, you will be able to measure all of the material and the actual "wearing size", and not the 'jeans that you just took of the dryer' type of jeans.


2. To measure your waist size, measure the pair of jeans horizontally across from the inside of the jeans. Then double the measurement for the circumference of the waist.

3. Upper hips: Measure horizontally across the opening of the front pocket, from right to left edge of the jeans. Double the measurement for the circumference.

4. Lower hips: Same procedure as above for measuring the upper hips, but rather, measure one to two inches above the bottom of the zipper. Double the measurement for the circumference.

5. Thigh: Measure horizontally across the thigh at 3-4″ below the crotch seam. Double for circumference.

6. Front rise: On the front of the jeans measure vertically from crotch seam to the top of the waist band.

7. Back rise: Measure from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband on the back of the jean.

8. Bottom leg opening: Measure the flattened leg from side to side on the inside of the opening and double for circumference.

9. Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg. Straighten the seam down the leg to get a better measurement.

Jeans have come a long way since its original patent in 1973, and since then jeans have evolved in to a culture icon in movies! I don’t know what’s going on with her. For the last few weeks, things just haven’t been the same between us. She looks at me differently…her eyes lack passion and intimacy…I just don’t get it. I’m an attractive guy, aren’t I? The other day she was talking about some guy in marketing class…she kept talking about how attractive he looked. Does she like him? Come to think of it, she kept talking about his jeans… What’s going on?

I look pretty good, don’t I? What do you think?

I woke up late yesterday and I immediately realized that I had many errands to run before I had to start my day. So I skipped the shower and jumped right in my jeans (I know, gross right?). I changed my shirt and was out the door before my alarm was finish ringing. That's when it hit me, putting on my jeans was casual yet fun. I feel comfortable and look comfortable when I am in them. I do not even bother looking in the mirror because I know that my white t-shirt and jeans is my style for everyday things.

So whether you are just getting out of bed or just getting out of the shower or even just finished running around the house in your underwear listening to Michael Jackson's Thriller album, you jump in your own jeans in your own way. I do both legs at once, you may do one leg at a time. Regardless, that 1 second of the day is a jump of enthusiasm straight into comfort.

I don't know about you but I like my jeans old fashion style. When I think of the type of jeans I want, I think back to Brooke Shields right after she came out with the movie Blue Lagoon. To me, that was the moment in time where jeans became fashion. Where you based the rest of your outfit by the type of jeans you wore and how those jeans separated you from everyone else.
